Self-taught during the earliest years... ripping off the original guitar heroes like Beck, Hendrix, Peter Green, Ollie Halsall, Wes Montgomery, and The 3 Kings, playing with as many local bands as time would allow. After picking up the rudiments of music theory (thanks to a great deal of desire and the local public library), attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ to study Composition, Music History, and Jazz guitar. And he's still a lousy student!
